We’re looking for a Linux Administrator to manage Dedicated Servers and Cloud Hosting to ensure High Availability and Security. This person should be an expert in testing and validating software applications. This person would be required to work closely with the Development teams to ensure adequate support. This individual also participates in the planning and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure system provisioning and maintenance that is consistent with company goals, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

Experience in Linux Server Hardening of Dedicated and VPS Server.
Experience provisioning, operating and maintaining systems running on AWS.
Ability to identify and gather requirements to define a solution to be built and operated on AWS.
Capabilities to provide AWS operations and deployment guidance and best practices throughout the lifecycle of a project.
Knowledge & experience of monitoring, logging, and cost management tools that integrate with AWS.
Disaster Recovery preparedness with multi-zone and/or multi-region options.
Backup and Restore management WHM/Cpanel Account.
Infrastructure and Application monitoring across production and non-production platforms.
Problem Solving: Ability to analyze and resolve complex infrastructure resource and application deployment issues.
Work closely with the development team to support Development.
Maintain all domains, reliability and viability of systems and network infrastructure, software updates, monitoring server activity, and auditing server security.
Track server activity, performing upgrades of software, addressing questions about technical problems, and improving efficiency by evaluating system and network functions.
Participate in 24/7 on-call support for system availability and client support.
Develop and maintain documentation about current environment setup, standard operating procedures, and best practices.
Manage end user accounts, permissions, access rights, and storage allocations in accordance with best-practices.

Requirements:

Should have at least 5 years of Linux Server Administration experience.
BE/BTech/ME/MTech/MCA/MSc degree preferred.
Knowledge of application deployment and the data migration on AWS for different regions.
Experience with using a broad range of AWS technologies (e.g. EC2, RDS, ELB, EBS, EMR, S3, SES, SNS, LightSail, IAM, CloudWatch, KMS) to develop and maintain an Amazon AWS based cloud solution, with an emphasis on best practice cloud security.
Experience with WHM/Cpanel, Apache/NGINX, MySql, FTP, Virtual Host, SSL Certificate, CloudFlare (DDoS attacks protection), Webmail, Iptables, SENDMAIL, Pingdom.
Ability to design high availability solutions on AWS across availability zones and regions.
Experience in AWS Security Groups, VPC, EBS, Cloud Front, EC2, S3, IAM Roles and Policies, Cloud Watch, Lamda, SNS, SQS, SSL Certs.
Godaddy, Hostgator, AWS, TMD Hosting management for domains and servers support.
Good communication in written and spoken English.
