There are three major sections in the PTE Academic test, which test key language skills using integrated and independent tasks:

The PTE Academic is scored on a scale of 10–90, with individual scores for each of the communicative skills: Listening, Reading, Speaking, and Writing. The final overall score is the mean of the four.
65 and above is suitable for emigration or study. 50–60 is the entry point for some of the universities, though competitive ones accept 70+.
